Fight to save Glen Abbey Golf Course gets new supporter prior to LPAT hearing

The fight to save Oakville’s Glen Abbey Golf Course from succumbing to development has a new ally. We Love Oakville is joining Save Glen Abbey and Oavillegreen Conservation Association in their quest to preserve the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. ClubLink, the corporation that owns Glen Abbey, wishes to build more than 3,000 residential units on the property as well as office and retail space. The matter is to be heard by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) in August.
