ClubLink inches closer to demolishing Glen Abbey

Oct. 30, 2018 – The Town of Oakville, Ont.’s desire for the Glen Abbey Golf Club to be preserved as an important heritage site has taken a big hit. In a Superior Court of Justice document dated late last week, course owner ClubLink has been granted the right to take its demolition application to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT). ClubLink wants to demolish the frequent site of the Canadian Open to build 3,222 new residential units.
