
Sept. 19 – The fight to keep Oakville’s Glen Abbey Golf Club from falling into the hands of developers intent on building more than 3,000 new residential units at the site has already cost the municipality $5.3 million on consultants and lawyers. The town wishes to conserve the golf course as a heritage site while its owner ClubLink wants to sell the property for development.
