Ecologists warn leaf raking is detrimental to important pollinators and birds

Ecologists are warning that raking leaves from lawns in the fall is killing beneficial insects. Brittany Killingbeck of the Hamilton Naturalist Club says important pollinators, including butterflies and bees, depend on leaf cover during the winter months.
