Vancouver wants public to report nest sites to control increasing geese populations
City to practise humane method of egg addling

An exploding population of Canada geese in Vancouver has the city’s park board requesting help from the general public to report nest sightings. It’s estimated about 3,500 geese are populating various locations throughout the city. Plans are to practise egg addling, which is a humane method of egg manipulation approved by such groups as the SPCA and PETA.
