A series of workshops is being offered to residents in Dufferin County, Ont. to help them make decisions about landscaping changes aimed at attracting pollinators, discovering regenerative agricultural techniques and creating ways to reduce their energy bills. The workshops, to be held in August, are being presented by Dufferin’s Youth Climate Activation Circle.
A spokesperson for the organization said the workshops’ objective is to leave participating residents with an appreciation for sustainable landscaping and to inspire them to create a greener future.
Each of the three scheduled workshops will be led by experts in their respective fields. The workshops will take place Aug. 9, Aug. 15 and Aug. 26. Locations include the Orangeville and District Senior Citizen Centre, the Grand Valley Community Centre and the Museum of Dufferin.
