Study to be conducted that could bring artificial turf field, dome to Owen Sound

Owen Sound, Ont. and its minor soccer association are sharing the cost of a study that could bring an artificial turf field and dome to the city. The lack of such facilities was an obstacle to having indoor soccer played during the COVID-19 pandemic, and several local soccer teams weren’t able to access outdoor fields until late May prior to the pandemic. The study is expected to be completed by March before further strategies are undertaken.
