Mild winter weather sees busy reopening of Kelowna, B.C. golf course
December 1, 2021 By Turf & Rec

Recent mild weather in the Kelowna, B.C. area has led to the reopening of the Shadow Ridge Golf Club and tee times being booked quickly.
Golfers basked in 15 degrees Celsius weather on Wednesday, and 140 golfers were expected to play Thursday. The course reopened for play on Nov. 26 after shutting down for the season.
Shadow Ridge remained open until Dec. 10 last year amid mild early winter weather.
Favourable weather has been a plus for golf this year in the area, and COVID has kept courses busy as a safe outdoor recreational pursuit.
