Concerns raised over safety of artificial turf fields that may contain forever chemicals
It's believed several fields contain PFAS chemicals

Escalating concerns about PFAS – or forever chemicals – have people worried about the water they drink, the clothes they wear and contacts made with a wide variety of other everyday products. Among the latest concerns is that artificial turf sports fields may contain PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl). It’s believed that several synthetic turf fields manufactured today contain PFAS, yet the percentage of them remains unknown.
