NFL players want league to do away with artificial turf playing fields as injuries mount

NFL players are calling for an end to artificial turf playing fields, citing mounting safety concerns. Players are aghast that the game is still being played on synthetic turf in this day and age and that players are one play away from a career-ending injury.
