Artificial turf surface to be replaced at Coquitlam, B.C. Town Centre Park field

A new synthetic turf surface is being sought for Coquitlam, B.C.’s Town Centre Park.

The Field No. 6’s shock pad is to remain in place, but both existing playing surface and its infill are to be replaced.

The city has issued a request for proposals. Contractors have until April 5 to make their proposals.

The city wants to begin the replacement job in early June and have the field ready for play by late July. It also wishes the replacement surface will carry at least an eight-year replacement warranty.
