Artificial turf surface at Belleville sports complex to be replaced this summer

Winning bid comes in at $680,000

The artificial turf field at Belleville, Ont.’s Mary Anne Sills Park Field No. 2 is to be replaced.

City council approved a bid from WorldWide Turf Inc. to replace the surface at a cost of $680,000.

Tenders were sent out in April.

Work to replace the playing surface is expected to be done in August.
