Bradford, Ont. makes new deal with sports dome, but scheduling still a challenge
A second dome may be needed to accommodate area's growth in local sports

An agreement has been reached between the Town of Bradford, Ont. and Bradford Sports Dome Inc. for another 15 years of operations at the Bradford Sports Dome.
The sports dome company has agreed to renew or replace the dome as well as the turf surface and HVAC system which are reaching the end of their lifespans.
Bradford Sports Dome Inc. has been responsible for the dome’s operational costs since 2010, recovering its expenses through user fees. Among its main user groups are local soccer and minor baseball clubs.
Growth in local sports has made scheduling a challenge. Both the municipality and a local soccer club have suggested a second dome in town would help to alleviate the scheduling pressures on the existing dome.
