Inflatable sports dome opens in Calgary, giving athletes chance to play all year long

Calgary’s new inflatable sports dome is expected to be a game changer for youth who are looking to re-engage in sports activities following lockdowns associated with COVID. The dome, which covers an artificial turf indoor sports field at Shouldice Athletic Park, is soon to officially open, but was christened on the weekend by the Calgary Blizzard. Flag football, soccer, lacrosse and field hockey user groups will be able to use the dome from November to May.
