An Ontario golf instructor, who also completed a golf course water usage study while a student at the University of Waterloo, figures water use on Ontario’s golf courses could increase by as much as 151 per cent by 2050 under current climate trends. To achieve the necessary water savings, golf courses and the provincial government will need to work together, she says.
