Sports Turf Canada offering online course in natural turfgrass management

A sports turf management and maintenance course is being offered online next month by Sports Turf Canada. The course, taught by Tab Buckner of the Township of Langley, B.C., will introduce the latest principles and techniques of managing and maintaining natural sports turf. Several topics will be covered, including turf species, soils, cultural practices, water management, integrated pest management and sports field construction.
