News Earth Week Eco-Friendly Practices Golf
Students learn conservation-based golf course maintenance ahead of PGA Tour event

As the PGA Tour prepares to kick off this week’s Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines Golf Course, students from a San Diego middle school visited the course to learn more about the science behind golf course management. The outreach program is known as First Green and teaches students how golf courses are maintained while respecting the environment, wildlife habitat and water.
