Course preparations for Tour stop old hat for Uplands Golf Club superintendent

Preparing the Uplands Golf Club in Victoria, B.C. for a PGA Tour Canada stop is no big deal for master superintendent Brian Youell. Preparing the course for the Tour’s Royal Beach Open is something he’s been doing for 14 straight years. Youell says he expects the course will play fast for the pros with fairways that will deliver long drives and roughs that will present a challenge.
