New artificial turf field, track highlight redevelopment of Guelph school’s sports facilities

Redevelopment of the sports facilities at Bishop Macdonell Catholic High School in Guelph, Ont. is underway and will feature a full-size artificial turf field for football, soccer, rugby, lacrosse and field hockey.

The field will be surrounded by a new six-lane polyurethane rubberized running track.

The track and sports field are expected to be completed by June 2024.

The highly anticipated South End Community Centre project is expected to open in 2026.
