A new $1.3-million sports field complex is expected to open within the next few months at a Mississauga high school.
An artificial turf football field and perimeter four-lane track are the facility’s key features for the Lincoln Alexander Secondary School property. Basketball courts and evening lighting were also included in the project.
The sports facility will be used by the school and public.
Another city high school, Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Secondary School, will soon be benefiting from a new sports facility as well. The $3.3-million project includes an artificial turf field and surrounding track, and is expected to open in 2024
