Man mowing municipal field for kids’ football told to stop or face being charged
He argues field not being mowed often enough during pandemic

A Chatham-Kent, Ont. man has been served notice by the municipality to refrain from mowing a municipal field so that youngsters can play flag football. The warning letter suggests he is trespassing and could face being fined up to $2,000. Jason Reynolds argues, however, that the user fees the league pays includes the cost of mowing, but cutting has been reduced to once a month during the pandemic while kids were playing once a week.
