Winter golf takes off at some Ontario golf courses as extended off-season activity
Winter play creates safe activity during colder weather

Golf proved itself to be such a safe activity amid the COVID-19 pandemic that the season is being extended into the winter months at some southern Ontario courses. Snow cover and frozen ground will not be deterrents for those who wish to continue to get some healthy outdoor exercise, but certain alterations to the game have been made to protect the course during winter play.
