Window to apply for OTRF research funding is closing soon
Applications open to Canadian, northern U.S. universities

The closing date to apply for Ontario Turfgrass Research Foundation funding for research proposals is Nov. 15.
With funds generated through donations and fundraising events, the OTRF annually provides grants to academic researchers to improve turfgrass management, ensuring healthy grass systems for years to come.
Researchers from universities from across Canada and the northern United States who are working in turfgrass management and are seeking funding, are invited to apply for an OTRF grant.
Research grants are awarded based on identified research needs for the turf sector, as defined by stakeholders in the turfgrass industry. These research priorities are reviewed and updated regularly as the needs of green space management are mandated. Find the list here.
Successful applicants will be notified in February 2024 with grants available for project work starting April 1, 2024.
