Applications for research funding are being accepted by the Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation.
Researchers can submit an application to the CTRF in conjunction with the Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation, Alberta Turfgrass Research Foundation, the Northwest Turfgrass Association, the Quebec Turfgrass Research Foundation, the Saskatchewan Turfgrass Association and the Western Canada Turfgrass Association.
Project funding applications and supporting documents will be circulated to the aforementioned organizations. Individual organizations may make funding decisions based on their own parameters, which might include:
· research priorities
· available budget
· previous commitments
· preferred funding term
The benefit to this process, besides saving valuable research time, is that CTRF member organizations are able to explore potential partnerships an,d as a result, funding could be provided by one or more organization or the CTRF as a whole.
