Volunteer work, donations, grants contribute to soccer field construction savings
Field in Manitoba could be ready late next summer

Preliminary work has been completed on a new soccer field in Grunthal, Man. that is expected to save the municipality upwards of $300,000 in construction costs. The field, which isn’t likely to be ready for play until late next summer, is being built by volunteers with funding coming from donations, savings and grants.
