Tent pitched on Moose Jaw golf course property leads to charges against two men

As grounds maintenance crews were getting Moose Jaw’s Hillcrest Golf Club ready on Monday for its season opening, they found an unlawful “residence” among the trees.

A pitched tent was found within a wooded area, prompting a call to police.

Several other items were found at the site along with the tent.

Police have charged two individuals with possession of stolen property. A single ticket was issued for trespassing. It was also learned that one of the men charged had outstanding warrants and had breached his release order.
