Hate crime symbols burned into grass at Edmonton city park

Symbols included a swastika

Hate-related symbols, including a swastika, have been found burned into the grass at an Edmonton park.

The vandalism occurred on Monday at Golden Bar Park.

The city’s hate crime unit is investigating the matter.

Municipal crews spent the afternoon on Monday removing the symbols and doing cleanup work.
