A master plan outlining renovations to Moose Jaw’s Hillcrest Golf Club has been approved by the club’s membership.
Work could begin as early as the fall on a multi-year course redesign that will cost about $3.5 million for the project’s initial stages.
The first phase of the project is to include work on the first hole’s green, the back tee of the third hole, the 13th hole and the greens on holes 14 and 18. Second-phase work is to include work on the first hole’s tee and fairway, the second hole’s tees, the addition of a driving range, and renovations to the 18th hole’s tees and fairway. The third phase is to include work on the sixth hole and the seventh hole’s tees.
Various fundraising efforts are to get underway this summer.
