Sports turf redevelopment project in Port Moody, B.C. enters into next phase
All-weather artificial turf field at heart of next phase
June 16, 2023 By Turf & Rec

Construction has progressed to the next phase on a redevelopment project at a Port Moody, B.C. park.
Inlet Park will be the site of an all-weather, artificial turf surface while other improvements will include three smaller soccer fields geared for younger players, a regulation-size FIFA field for adult players, two baseball and softball diamonds, and other amenities.
The project, which is being built atop a former gravel field, is costing about $6.2 million. The British Columbia government is funding the lion’s share of the project, with the municipal and federal governments providing the remainder.
Construction of the new artificial turf field is expected to be finished later this year.
