NFL’s first ever game site getting new artificial field

March 29, 2019 – Triangle Park in Dayton, Ohio – site of the first ever National Football League game played in 1920 – is going to receive a new artificial turf field funded by the NFL Foundation. The field is expected to be completed in time to commemorate the league’s 100th anniversary in 2020 and will feature a practice session by the Cincinnati Bengals.
