November 17, 2021 By CTV News

Recent arson at the River Road Golf Course in London, Ont. has resulted in an Indigenous-led winter homeless shelter project to be relocated. Discussions are underway to determine a new location for the shelter. The fire that caused $1 million in damages to the former River Road clubhouse thwarted the project. The clubhouse was to be a place where meals could be prepared and where the homeless could access for showers and bathroom breaks.
