A weekend fire that caused $1 million in damages to the former River Road Golf Course clubhouse in London, Ont. is being looked at as suspicious. The site was being prepared as a winter homeless shelter area by an Indigenous-led group. Fears of racism have been sparked as a result of the blaze. Options for a relocation of the shelters are seen as limited.
