Kitchener mayor says user fees for city cricket pitch rentals should not be increased

The mayor of Kitchener, Ont. has asked for a review of cricket pitch user fee rentals, suggesting the rate is cost prohibitive for children who play the game. Mayor Berry Vrbanovic said the sport is growing significantly as a result of the city’s changing demographics. He said user fees for cricket pitch rentals should not be increased.
