Arrest made in connection with clubhouse blaze at closed London golf course
Course was to serve as homeless shelter area

A city employee has been arrested in connection with a fire earlier in November that heavily damaged the former clubhouse at the River Road Golf Course in London, Ont. The closed municipal course was to serve as a homeless shelter area this winter with the clubhouse to be used for meal preparations and open for shower and restroom use. It had been speculated the arson may have been race-motivated because the homeless shelter project is Indigenous-led. READ MORE
