Port Elgin sports park project gets big boost with Bruce Power’s $250,000 donation

A Port Elgin, Ont. sports turf project is benefiting from a $250,000 contribution by Bruce Power to aid its second phase fundraising campaign. The first phase of the Lamont Sports Park project included four lit and irrigated baseball diamonds, connecting paths to the Saugeen Rail Trail, temporary washrooms and parking. The first phase of the project cost $5.3 million. The fundraising goal for the second phase is $1 million.
