Mild spring weather prompts Ottawa-area driving ranges to open up to golfers

Mild spring weather this week has prompted a couple of Ottawa driving ranges to open their facilities today for golfers to get a head start on the new season.

Both the Kevin Haime Golf Centre in Kanata and the range at Dragonfly Golf Links in Renfrew have opened for pre-season practice.

Reservations for bay space are being recommended in advance.

Temperatures in the Ottawa area were expected to reach 14 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 12 degrees on Friday.
