On-field cricket demands demonstration to highlight Sports Turf Canada field training day

Sports Turf Canada is presenting a sports field training day Oct. 5 at Brampton, Ont.s Teramoto Park.

The day presents an opportunity for hands-on applied learning and connecting with others in the sports turf industry, held on-site at a sports facility.

The day’s program features an on-field ball diamond demonstration, an on-field synthetic turf maintenance demonstration and an on-field cricket demands demonstration. Brampton is regarded as Canada’s cricket capital.

A barbecue lunch will be provided and several afternoon on-field demonstration will include line painting, equipment introduction, use of tarps and irrigation inspections.

The day begins at 8 a.m. with registration and networking.
