Magazine lists ‘golf course design and construction’ among ‘very strange’ university courses offered

An article in University Magazine has listed 10 “very strange” college courses available to post-secondary students, including such seemingly head-scratching programs as paintball kinesiology, vampires and zombies. One of the courses listed in the U.S. publication, however, likely comes as a surprise to those employed in the turf and grounds maintenance industry. It is called “golf course design and construction,” which is offered at the University of Maryland.
