MetLife Stadium, and its artificial turf surface, voted worst in NFL in player poll
Field surface has been heavily criticized following rash of player injuries

MetLife Stadium – home of the New York Jets and New York Giants of the National Football League – has been voted as the league’s worst stadium in a poll of NFL players.
The stadium’s artificial turf playing surface has been highly criticized in recent months following a rash of player injuries, allegedly attributed to the synthetic grass. Aaron Rodgers and Sterling Shepherd are among the players who have been suffered long-term injuries.
The poll, which was conducted by The Athletic, allowed players to leave comments. One anonymous player comment read: “Everything about that place is horrible.”
Most NFL fields have natural turf playing surfaces.
Runner-up for worst stadium was FedEx Field, home of the Washington Commanders.
