Safety of MetLife Stadium’s artificial turf surface comes into question once again
Turf is 'horrible' and field needs to be 'shut down' tweets player

The beleaguered artificial turf surface at MetLife Stadium in New York has come under attack once again after New York Jets wide receiver Lawrence Cager suffered a hamstring injury in a game Thursday against the Denver Broncos. Immediately afterward, San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert – who was injured on the same field weeks earlier – tweeted the turf is “horrible” and the field needs to be “shut down.”
