Kingston, Ont. adopts No Mow May philosophy, urging residents to let their lawns grow

City council in Kingston, Ont. has bought into the “No Mow May” campaign and is urging local residents to let their lawns grow throughout the month. The idea is to allow bees and other pollinators a chance to flourish. No Mow May isn’t only an opportunity to help pollinator populations, but is beneficial to the climate, the initiator of the motion noted.
