City, school board to jointly fund new $3.3M track and field facility in Mississauga

Five years of talk is finally giving way to action on plans to construct a new $3.3-million track and field facility in Mississauga, Ont. The facility, which will include an artificial turf infield and four-lane track, will be built next to Ascension of Our Lord Secondary School in Malton. The project is to be jointly funded by the city and the local school board.
