School board acquires former city-owned sports field at Burlington high school

A former city-owned sports field in Burlington, Ont. has been acquired by the Halton District School Board. The transaction is centred around the exchange of the field at Burlington Central High School and the sale of the former Robert Bateman High School. The land that includes the sports field and surrounding track is about five acres in size. With the purchase, the board will ensure the school’s operation.
