Facility badly needed, province hears
April 11, 2022 By Turf & Rec

The province of Ontario is putting $1.3 million towards a new sports field and track project at a Mississauga high school.
The initiative is being done in collaboration with the City of Mississauga, Region of Peel and the Peel District School Board.
It is expected the project at Lincoln M. Alexander Secondary School will provide recreational opportunities for not only students, but the community at large.
Premier Doug Ford said the message from the public was that such a facility was badly needed.
