Behind the scenes with BMO Field’s head groundskeeper Robert Heggie

Robert Heggie has had a lot on his plate in the years he has served as head groundskeeper at Toronto’s BMO Field. He has overseen the field’s transition from artificial to natural turf and has perhaps the most unique infrastructure in Major League Soccer, including its sub-air system. Heggie recently shared his day-to-day experiences at BMO Field with the Globe and Mail.
