Giving in to No Mow May was a mistake, writer says, noting bees not interested in dandelions

An opinion piece published on several Postmedia sites is saying no more to No Mow May. The author claims to question the logic behind the campaign which encourages property owners to leave their lawns unmowed in May to attract pollinators. Saying she thought it was a good idea when first practising it herself a few years ago, she now says she was wrong. Pollinators seem uninterested in the sea of dandelions and are flocking instead to other sources of nectar.
