Windsor’s Roseland Golf Club going nowhere in face of development pitch, mayor says
38-unit condo complex pitched for Donald Ross course property
March 6, 2024 By Turf & Rec
The Roseland Golf & Curling Club is going nowhere under the watch of Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens, he avows.
A proposed condominium complex has been pitched for the golf course property, but Dilkens said residents will have a say over the proposal.
The City of Windsor’s website features a rendering of the proposed 38-unit complex. An information session has been scheduled for March 7 to hear concerns from the public as well as ideas. The public can also access an online survey.
An immediate neighbour of the golf course said that although more housing is needed, it shouldn’t encroach on the Donald Ross-designed golf course.
