Two lesser-used football fields in Windsor, Ont. may be converted into a new baseball diamond at the city’s Realtor Park. The addition of another baseball field allows for better use of space for athletes and their families once the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions ease. Council has earmarked $135,000 in its capital budget for the project. A new diamond could be ready as early as next spring.
