Will reduced grass cutting increase tick numbers?

The City of Cornwall, Ont. wants to cut $95,000 from its municipal budget this year by reducing the number of times it mows grass in its city parks, but at least one councillor and Cornwall’s medical officer of health argue the strategy will lead to increased populations of ticks.
