Tick reportings in Niagara quadrupled from last year

April 30, 2019 – Four times as many ticks have been reported in the Niagara region compared to the same time frame a year ago. Among the 85 ticks plucked and placed in jars for reporting, 80 have been identified as the blacklegged species that can potentially spread Lyme disease.
